Chelsea interested in Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister, reports say

Alexis Mac Allister’s future at Liverpool remains uncertain, with Chelsea reportedly considering a move for the 27-year-old in January.

Liverpool’s management are not planning to open talks with the Argentina international over a contract extension. His current deal runs until 2028, and Mac Allister is said to be unhappy with the situation while considering different options for the next stage of his career.

Transfer News Live, citing Football Insider, reports that Chelsea are interested in the midfielder. The Blues are looking to strengthen their midfield and could try to persuade Mac Allister to leave Liverpool in January.

Mac Allister is valued at €70m by Transfermarkt. The World Cup winner has scored two goals and provided one assist in seven appearances for Liverpool this season.
