Danny Ward scored twice as Huddersfield condemned Watford to a defeat, on a night Emmanuel Dennis commemorated his first start since rejoining the team in January with a goal.

Dennis blasted the Hornets in front from close range but they  could not build on the goal as the Terriers came from behind to earn all three points.

Watford made two changes from last weekend’s 1-0 victory at Rotherham United, with Dennis coming in for Mileta Rajovi? and Jake Livermore replacing Francisco Sierralta in front of the back four, Nigeriasoccernet.com writes.

Asprilla, fresh from two superb goals from distance in his past two games drove purposefully down the flank before laying a pass across to Dennis, who cut inside his man brilliantly before smashing a finish past Nicholls from close range.

It would prove to be the goalscorer’s last involvement as an injury concern forced his replacement by Rajovi?, with Matheus Martins also coming on for Lewis.

Up next for Watford and Dennis if he's able to build his fitness and availability in time is an away trip to Millwall.
