Carrick: Fulham saves denied Manchester United victory

Michael Carrick said Fulham goalkeeper was a major reason Manchester United could not secure a win in their 1-1 draw in the fifth round of the Premier League.

“In many ways, it was down to their goalkeeper,” Manchester United head coach Carrick said when discussing why his side failed to beat Fulham.

The result leaves Manchester United 12th in the table with five points.

The Red Devils’ next Premier League match is scheduled for 10 October, when they will face Tottenham. Tottenham are currently bottom of the table.
