Carragher unimpressed by Wirtz display in Liverpool’s Bournemouth victory

Former Liverpool defender and football pundit Jamie Carragher has criticised Florian Wirtz’s performance in the Reds’ 1-0 win against Bournemouth.

Carragher said the 23-year-old Germany international would not have had a place in his Liverpool team, expressing particular dissatisfaction with the midfielder’s display during the Premier League match.

Wirtz has played five English Premier League matches for Liverpool this season and has registered one assist.
