Capello: Franco Baresi was as influential a leader as Raul Gonzalez

Fabio Capello has compared Franco Baresi with Raul Gonzalez, saying the former AC Milan defender was a leader on the same level as the legendary Real Madrid forward.

Baresi died last summer. Raul was a defining figure at Real Madrid from the end of the 20th century into the early years of the 21st century.

Capello previously managed both AC Milan and Real Madrid. He also coached national teams, including Russia and England.
