Rivers United star, Joseph Onoja, has said he and his teammates are focused on themselves and not their opponent as they host Wydad AC of Morocco in CAF Champions League 2nd preliminary round 1st leg tie on Sunday 9th October at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium.

The Pride of Rivers saw off Watanga FC 3-1 on aggregate to set up a mouthwatering tie against the competition's defending champion.

Onoja told Rivers United Media: "The spirit in camp has been warm and receptive. We know what Is at stake."

"We are not thinking about our opponent, we are thinking about ourselves, what we can do."

"As far as we are concerned, we are the champions of Nigeria and we have to play like champions. Our opponent what they are doesn't really matter to us. We just have to do what we know how to do best, win."
