After a great result achieved at the CAF Champions League preliminary round tie against AS Stade Mandji, Plateau United Coach is leaving nothing to chance.

Coach Fidelis Ilechukwu's side earned a two all draw against Gabonese side at Franceville but the former MFM FC coach sees no advantage despite the result gotten away from home.

"The second leg fixture against AS Stade Mandji is very crucial for us. We have spoken to ourselves about the need to win the game; we have no advantage from the 2-2 scoreline, as the game could go either way," Ilechukwu said from his team's camp in Abuja.

Ilechukwu further revealed the match is going to be at equilibrium and his team has must do all it can to qualify.

"It's a game I see as a 50-a-50 chance for both teams but Plateau United will use all it has in its arsenal to prosecute the game.

"We must qualify for the next round but it won't come easy as our opponents are a good side. They have players who have got pace and move the ball very fast.

"Their style of play; their strengths and weaknesses are now known to us, I believe, they also got enough information about us as well. We will now use the next few days to map out a game plan, to get it right come Sunday."

Plateau United will host the return leg on Sunday 18th September, at Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.
