Rivers United, the only Nigerian club in the CAF Confederations Cup tourney claimed a nervy 2-1 victory against Dream FC to finish second in Group C and seal progression into the next round, Nigeriasoccernet.com writes.

Dreams FC had gone ahead in the 40th minute through Aziz Issah but Deputy Echeta's goal in the 61st minute assisted by Andy Okpe gave Stanley Eguma's side a lifeline into the clash.

The comeback was completed late in the game when defender Godwin Kazie grabbed the winner to send the Uyo Township Stadium agog and snatch all three points for Rivers United.

Albeit, Tunisian outfit Club Africain played out a thrilling 1-1 draw with Academica Lobito although a win for the Tunis club would have ensured Rivers United elimination while they progressed through to the next round.
