Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has welcomed the victorious Kwara United side after their match with the AS Douanes of Niger Republic.

 

The Governor alongside the first lady and other state dignitaries in the meeting with him in Kwara, appreciated the team.

 

"Well done, it was a good game. We look forward to you going to Niger to conquer then there, consolidate on your efforts. Hopefully or surely you will meet the team from Morocco, the defending champions so the work is spelt out for you." His Excellency said.

 

Kwara United started their preliminary round match of the CAF Confederation Cup against Douanes which ended 3-0 in Lagos on Sunday.

 

The second leg encounter holds in Niger on Sunday.
