Two-time African champions, Enyimba are looking to return to winning ways when they face Cote d’Ivoire’s Williamsville in a CAF Confederation Cup Group C matchday-three encounter at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt today (Wednesday).

The Peoples Elephant shockingly lost 3-0 against CARA Brazaville of Congo in their last game in the competition.

They sit in third position in Group C with three points having beaten Mali’s Djoliba 2-0 on matchday-one.

A win against the debutants will put them in a good position to qualify for the quarter-finals, an opportunity that defensive midfielder, Dare Ojo, insists they must grab with both hands.

“The result of the last game against CARA was disappointing. Nobody expected us to lose by that high margin,”Ojo told CSN.

“Now we have to fight hard and make sure we get a win against Williamsville. It’s a must win situation for us and we have no choice than to get the maximum points in this game.

“Our first target is to qualify from the group and we must do that, then it is important that we avoid defeat in the remaining games.”

Enyimba are looking to become the first Nigerian side to win the CAF Confederation Cup title.
