Young Africans of Tanzania coach Nasredinne Nabi has expressed his satisfaction with the results his players got against Rivers United in the first leg of their CAF Confederation Cup quarterfinals in Lagos, reports Nigeriasoccernet.com.

Second half brace from Congolese striker Fiston Mayele put the Tanzanian ahead in the two-legged tie.

Speaking on the victory, excited Nasredinne Nabi coach of Young Africans said:

"I am delighted to win because it is not easy to come to Nigeria and win. We played well and took our chances, but the game is far from over.

"We still have the second leg and we need to do even better to ensure we qualify,” he concluded.

The second leg will come up on Sunday 30th April 2023 at the Benjamin Mkapa National Stadium.
