Two national teams in Sierra Leone and Senegal have already qualified for the upcoming 2025 CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations after they both made it to the finals of WAFU A Zone finals in Liberia with Senegal emerging champions, Nigeriasoccernet.com writes.

With 12 nations expected to compete for the crown as well as a place in the 2025 FIFA U20 World Cup which is set to be hosted by South American side in Chile, more details is still expected for the ongoing TotalEnergies CAF U-20 AFCON  qualifiers, which include the CECAFA, COSAFA, WAFU B, UNIFFAC and UNAF Zones.

Flying Eagles of Nigeria have been placed in Group B of the Wafu-B qualifiers alongside Burkina Faso and Côte d'Ivoire in a 3-team group.

The tournament, a qualifier for the U20 African Cup of Nations begins on October 18 for Nigeria's Flying Eagles in Lome, Togo, the finalists will then progress to the AFCON as they look to dethrone reigning champions, Senegal.
