CAF Confederation Cup: CO Korhogo hold AS FAR to goalless draw

Club Omnisport de Korhogo were held to a 0-0 draw by AS FAR de Rabat in the first leg of their second-round preliminary tie in the CAF Confederation Cup on Saturday, 17 October 2026.

The match was played at the Amadou Gon Coulibaly Stadium in Cote d’Ivoire, where neither side could find a breakthrough.

The opening half was evenly contested, although AS FAR showed greater attacking intent during some periods. The Moroccan side created opportunities but were unable to turn their pressure into a goal before the interval.

CO Korhogo began the second half with increased intensity and put the AS FAR defence under sustained pressure. The Ivorian side appeared to have taken the lead, but the effort was ruled out for offside.

Both teams continued to search for a decisive goal until the final whistle, but the match ended without a score.

The tie will be decided in the second leg, which will be played in Rabat on 25 October. AS FAR will have home support behind them as they seek to secure qualification.
