CAF Champions League name changed and NFF to get 1 million US Dollars as participants of CAF Super League
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) is set to officially launch the Super League on Wednesday, 10th August, 2022 and more facts on how it will be staged have surfaced.
According to the update from the venue of the 44th CAF Congress Arusha, Tanzania , the competition will be officially launched on Wednesday and some modalities have been put in place to ensure its smooth running.
Among the fact that emerged is that the regular Champions League will have its name changed to African Champions Cup and also have its group stage abolished.
Another is that each member association that has its club in the Super League like the NFF will get $1 million US Dollars as a cash reward for participating in the competition.
While the relegated team's from the competition will join the CAF Confederation Cup.
