Ahead of the 2022/23 CAF Confederation Cup season, one of Nigeria's contingencies to the second-tier CAF interclub competition, (CAF Confederation Cup) Kwara United have adopted Lagos Mobolaji Johnson as their home ground, Nigeriasoccernet.com gathered.

This is coming after CAF failed to approve their home ground, Ilorin Township Stadium for the tournament.

However, the Afonja Warriors/Harmony Boys would have to make do with the 26,000-capacity Mobolaji Johnson Stadium in Lagos.

Kwara United play their first fixture against AS Douanes on the 9th of September. Then they travel for the second leg which takes place in Senegal nine days later.

Kwara United were handed the 2022/23 Confederations Cup ticket due to the NFF’s inability to meet CAF’s deadline for the submission of continental representatives.
