CAF Awards: Nominations for Nnadozie, Ajibade, Olowookere, others
Super Falcons goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie and Captain Rasheedat Ajibade have been nominated amongst other Nigerians shortlisted for the CAF Awards (Women), Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The trio of U-20 Women's Coach, Bankole Olowookere, U-17 Women's Coach, Chris Danjuma, and Edo Queens Coach, Moses Aduku also received nominations.
The duo of Nnadozie and Ajibade were nominated for the Women’s Player of the Year award.
Nnadozie was also shortlisted alongside Edo Queens goalie, Monle Oyono for the Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year award.
Coach, Danjuma, Olowookere, and Aduku were all nominated for the Women’s Coach of the Year award.
Falconets duo of Chioma Okwuchukwu and Flourish Sabastine also got nominated for the Women’s Young Player of the Year award.
The Super Falcons, Falconets (U-20), and Flamingos (U-17) were all nominated for the National Team of the Year award.
Besides, the Edo Queens duo of Emem Essien and Monle Oyono received a nomination for the Women’s Interclub Player of the Year award, while NWFL Champions Edo Queens was shortlisted for the Club of the Year award.
