CAF has officially partnered with TECNO through a new sponsorship agreement, designating TECNO as the official global partner of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025 and TotalEnergies CAF AFCON Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda 2027 tournaments, NigeriaSoccernet.com reports.

“The impressive growth and success of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations has resulted in several exciting sponsorship agreements being concluded by CAF with African and international partners", CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe stated.

"The partnership with TECNO will contribute to the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations, which is the biggest sporting event in Africa, continuing to grow and reach new markets and audiences. On behalf of CAF and its 54 Member Associations, we would like to thank TECNO for investing in African football.”

The agreement, which was announced in Nairobi, Kenya,  builds on the success of their previous collaboration during the TotalEnergies CAF AFCON Côte d'Ivoire 2023, where TECNO served as the exclusive smartphone sponsor.

That partnership significantly boosted TECNO’s engagement and reach across the continent, reinforcing the company’s dedication to African football and paving the way for this expanded collaboration.
