From Calcio Exclusive, Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann has fired upon Premier League clubs for their over spending in the transfer market.

Chelsea splashed £98m to resign Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan to strengthen their attacking contingent. Manchester City secured the services of Jack Grealish for a whopping £10m while they are also reportedly negotiating a deal for Tottenham Hotspur captain Harry Kane.

Manchester United too have been busy in the transfer window spending in the tune of £126m to rope in Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane to increase the competitiveness in the Premier League this term.

Bayern dominated the Bundesliga in the last few seasons as they created a monopoly in the German top tier as they have had the knack of picking up top players from their rival teams.

They recently bought Dayot Upemecano from RB Leipzig as it is their only activity in this summer so far.

Nagelsmann said, “It’s not easy to spend loads of money, we’re not in the Premier League.

“We will see – if anything is possible then perhaps, we will get a new player.

“If not, it’s okay, as we will work with the players we have in our squad.”
