BUNDES - Lewis Holtby moves to 2.Bundesliga

Holstein Kiel have announced the signing of Lewis Holtby for free. He has moved back to Germany 2nd division after 2 years. Kiel who finished 3rd last season in 2.Bundesliga almost made it to Senior Div but lost to Koln in the Play Off final. Now the club have looked ambitious this window in their goal to achieve promotion this season & now have wrapped up the former Germany International. 30 year old Mid, left Championship side Blackburn this summer & finally found a move back after being linked with clubs from Asia. He is known for his spell with Schalke where he was next big thing, where he played in UCL & also won the German Cup with them. He was linked with Top clubs then & joined Spurs in 2013. Since then he has not found his old form & have had spells with Fulham & Hamburg. He got relegated with both clubs but with Hamburg he did play 26 games in 2.Bundesliga (18-19).
