Brown Ideye got into the score sheet for the second consecutive time to lead Enyimba FC to a win in the Nigeria Premier Football League on Wednesday night, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The People's Elephant ended a torrid seven matches without a win after a 2-1 win over Nasarawa United at the Enyimba International Stadium.

It was the Aba giant's first game since their 4-1 win over Black Bulls of Mozambique in the CAF Confederation Cup on Sunday and they were seeking to continue that form with the NPFL match day 17 rescheduled game.

Joseph Atule smarting from scoring a brace against the Black Bulls broke the deadlock after a minute into additional time to give the hosts the lead at halftime.

Anas Yusuf with his 11th goal of the campaign levelled the score for the away side on 58 minutes.

Coach Stanley Eguma brought in Brown Ideye immediately to get the win and the former Super Eagles star answered to the call as he tapped in from close range a fine pass from Atule 3 minutes after his introduction just like he did against Black Bulls after coming in as a substitute.

Ideye's second goal this season in 3 matches eventually gave Enyimba FC maximum points, a sixth win of the season which takes them to 7th on the log with 27 points after 17 matches played out of 19 matches.
