Brown Ideye shone brighter than fellow Nigeria striker Macauley Chrisantus as his Greek Super League club Olympiacos thrashed AEK Athens 4-0 on Saturday.

Ideye, who joined the Greek champions in the summer from EPL side West Bromwich Albion, scored in the 70th minute to give his team a 2-0 lead.

He has now scored two goals in six games.

Former Golden Eaglets star Chrisantus was on parade for AEK Athens for 14 minutes.

Olympiacos are top of the league table with a perfect record of seven wins in as many games.
