Anderlect winger Frank Acheampong has been handed a spot in the Ghana starting line-up to face Senegal in tonight's international friendly against Senegal in Le Havre, France.

The 21-year-old is playing at a left-back role with Augsburg FC's Baba Rahman absent due to injury. The role is not new to the exciting winger so is accustomed to the position at Anderlecht.

With captain Asamoah Gyan missing the game with injury, Olympique Marseille attacker Andre Ayew who is also starting the game has been handed the armband.

UD Mirandes keeper Razak Braimah who impressed at the 2015 AFCON has once again pipped AshantiGold keeper Fatau Dauda to the starting gloves. This will be Braimah's eighth straight start for Ghana and he will be seeking to keep a clean sheet against the Teranga Lions.

Turkey-based John Boye, Evian TG's Jonathan Mensah, Harrison Afful and Acheampong complete the back four. Celtic winger Wakaso Mubarak, Sampdoria's Afriyie Acquah, Andre Ayew and Christian Atsu will play in midfield while Lorient's Jordan Ayew and Reading FC's Kwesi Appiah play upfront.

Ghana XI vs Senegal: Razak Braimah - Harrison Afful, Frank Acheampong, Johnathan Mensah, John Boye - Wakaso Mubarak, Afriyie Acquah, Andre Ayew (C), Christian Atsu - Jordan Ayew, Kwesi Appiah.
