Brace: Onuachu powers Trabzonspor pass Istanbulspor
Super Eagles striker, Paul Onuachu scored twice as Trabzonspor defeat bottom place Istanbulspor 3-0 on Sunday as they mainatin their 3 points off 4th place ?stanbul Ba?ak?ehir F.K, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Onuachu scored in the 6th and 7th minutes to help the Karadeniz F?rt?nas? continue their push for an Europa League Playoff spot with Thomas Meunier scoring the 3rd in the 49th minutes as they record a comfortable win.
It was Paul Onuachu's 13th and 14th league goal of the season, a team he joined from Southampton from loan after a failed attempt in the premier league.
His form this season is expected to earn him a return to the Super Eagles squad ahead of the World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Benin Republic scheduled for next month in Uyo and Cotonou.
