"?Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke has slammed claims Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang is trying to engineer a move away from the club, "?Goal report.

Aubemayang is scheduled to link up with the Gabon national team for their upcoming matches against the Ivory Coast and Mauritius but boss Jorge Costa claimed he asked to be excused.

Speaking to RFI, Costa said "Aubameyang has asked not to be selected [for the national team] because he is changing clubs."

However, BVB's supremo has quickly denied the claims that their top goalscorer is heading for a shock exit.

When questioned about an impending transfer, Watzke told Bild "Is Aubameyang set to leave? That's b******t."

The 26-year-old hitman scored 25 goals in 31 Bundesliga appearances for Dortmund this season and his departure would be a massive blow to the club.

After Mats Hummels revealed he would be joining Bayern Munich this summer, Die Borussen will fight tooth and nail to hold onto their prized assests.

Manchester United and Real Madrid have both been linked with moves for Aubameyang as they attempt to bolster their attacking options.

Jose Mourinho took over United's managerial reins on Friday and he is set to be given a £200m warchest to revamp the squad, although he would have to use a sizeable portion of that money to retain any hope of pinching the pacey attacker from BVB's clutches.
