Bordeaux coach Willy Sagnol has penciled down Jordan Ayew as one of his top summer transfer targets.

According to a publication by Le10Sport, the ex-France international has included the Lorient marksman as one of the four reinforcements for the 2015/2016 Ligue 1 campaign.

Sagnol is a long-term admirer of the former Olympique Marseille striker who hit a rich-vein of scoring last term.

But Bordeaux must be prepared for a battle with Lille, whose new coach Herve Renard is a personal friend of the 23-year-old Ghana international.

Ayew’s future has been speculated after netted 12 goals in 31 league appearances for Lorient who struggled to survive in the top-flight.
