Bologna’s directors have held talks with manager Domenico Tedesco over the club’s poor start to the Serie A season.
The meeting took place on Tuesday lunchtime, with the club’s leadership expressing serious concern about both the team’s results and the quality of its performances.
Bologna have collected only one point and are 16th in the Serie A table.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Tedesco does not intend to resign. However, Bologna could decide to dismiss him before their next match against Torino on 19 September.
Should Tedesco leave, Bologna’s potential replacements are Stefano Pioli, Raffaele Palladino and Roberto D’Aversa.
Tedesco managed Spartak from 2019 to 2021.
