Ghana coach Avram Grant has been handed a 10-day break after his heroics with the Black Stars at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.

The 60-year-old is in London to visit his family after leading the West African country to clinch a surprised silver during the continental showpiece.

Grant, a former coach of Chelsea, will use the well-deserved break to reflect on his team’s performance in Equatorial Guinea and the way forward.

“Coach Avram Grant has been given a 10-day break to rest after the Nations Cup,” Ghana FA spokesman Ibrahim Sannie Daara told Joy FM

“He will use the next couple of days to reflect on the team’s performance and map out strategies going forward.”

Grant has been forced to rebuff reports linking him to English side Aston Villa.
