The Black Princesses recorded an emphatic 6-0 victory over Senegal in their 2016 FIFA U20 Women's World Cup qualifying match played in Accra on Sunday.

Sandra Owusu Ansah and Jane Ayieyam hit a brace each while Priscilla Adobea and Fatima Alhassan all scored to give Ghana a huge boost going into the second leg in a fortnight.

The Black Princesses could face either Equatorial Guinea or Mali in the penultimate qualifying round if they seal their victory over their Senegalese counterparts.

Two teams will represent Africa at next year's tournament which will be staged in Papua New Guinea.
