Bayer Leverkusen: Victor Boniface set for comeback, confirms manager Xabi Alonso
Bayer Leverkusen's manager, Xabi Alonso, has confirmed that Victor Boniface is poised for a return to action, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Since undergoing surgery for an adductor injury in January, Boniface has been sidelined. However, the Nigeria international has been diligently working his way back to full fitness in recent weeks.

?s=12 Now, at 23 years old, Boniface is on the verge of featuring in Leverkusen’s DFB Pokal semi-final clash with Fortuna Dusseldorf on Wednesday.
Alonso expressed his optimism during a press conference, stating, “We have no injured players. Everyone could be available for the squad. Boniface could play a part of the game. He trained hard and came through it with a strong mentality. He can’t wait to be back on the pitch.”
Boniface has impressed with 10 goals and eight assists in just 15 starts.
