Barcelona weigh summer move for Bournemouth striker Eli Junior Kroupi

Barcelona remain interested in Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi, but are not expected to make an approach for the 20-year-old during the winter transfer window, according to Diario SPORT.

Kroupi is understood to have impressed both Barcelona’s head coach and sporting director Deco. The Catalan club could instead consider making a move for the striker next summer.

A potential obstacle is Bournemouth’s valuation. The Premier League club reportedly want €100m for Kroupi, a price that could make any deal difficult for Barcelona.

The forward is also attracting interest from Arsenal and Tottenham, increasing the competition for his signature.

Kroupi has made only one appearance in the English league this season and has not registered a goal or an assist. He missed the start of the campaign because of an injury.
