Barcelona return Alessandro Bastoni to 2027 transfer plans – reports

Barcelona are considering a move for Inter and Italy centre-back Alessandro Bastoni in 2027, according to El Nacional.

The 27-year-old has reportedly returned to the Catalan club’s list of defensive targets as Barcelona plan to sign a new central defender. Bastoni is said to be open to a change of surroundings and interested in moving to Camp Nou.

However, any deal would require a substantial fee, with the transfer estimated at about 80 million euros.

Bastoni scored for Italy in their Nations League away match against France on the eve of the report. The sides drew 1-1.

The defender remains under contract with Inter until the middle of 2028.
