The management of Barau Football Club has suspended Salisu Yusuf as Technical Adviser, effective immediately, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

This was contained in a statement by Ahmad Hamisu Gwale, Barau FC Media Officer.

"This decision was made following a meeting, where the management appreciated his efforts during his tenure, particularly in the Nigerian National League (NNL) 2024/2025.

"Consequently, Chief Coach Rabi'u Tata will assume the role of interim Technical Adviser, with his assistant supporting the team's activities."

Salisu Yusuf as Coach of the Kano State-based club won the first match of the season but has gone on to draw one and lost two matches in the four games played this season in the Nigeria National League.

Chief Coach Rabi'u Tata has since resumed as the Coach of the side ahead of their Saturday clash with Sokoto United.
