Nigeria international Babajide Akintola gave an impressive display to aid Adana Demirspor to a five nil win over Kasimpasa in the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Akintola scored twice in Adana's consecutive win at the New Adana Stadium in their match day 28 encounter.

The former FC Ebedei player opened score for his side in the 18th minute before doubling the lead three minutes later to give the home side a 2-0 lead.

Yusuf Sari scored the third goal in the 27th minute to make the lead comfortable which Adana held on to till the end of the first half.

With more goals in sight, Adana's coach brought in Akintola's countryman, Henry Onyekuru in the 65th for Sari while 12 minutes later Emre Akbaba came for Akintola.

Meanwhile, Cherif Ndiaye and Younes Belhanda scored in the 80th and 90th minute respectively to complete the rout for Adana as they go fourth on the league standings.

Akintola, Onyekuru will travel with their teammates to Konyaspor on Wednesday for their next league match.
