Platanias skipper Aziz Tetteh helps side to a 9th place finish in Greece
Impressive Ghanaian midfielder Aziz Tetteh produced another sparkling performance in the middle of the park to help Platanias hold Olympiakos 1-1 in the Greak top flight and cement a 9th place finish.
The 23 year old Ghanaian midfielder sent in a pile driver 40 yards out and benefitted from a huge deflection from Olympiakos defender Giannoulis to level it up for his side after the visitors had taken a first half lead through Franco Jara.
Aziz has been in inspired form since the turn of the year and his performance has mirrored into Platanias moving from 15th on the league table in February to finishing 9th in May.
The former Liberty Professionals midfielder scored 3 goals in 29 games in the just ended season and cooked up 8 for his colleagues.
The Ghanaian's performance has attracted interest from some Greek giants including Olympiakos and it would be interesting to see if Platanias are able to hold on to their prized asset.
