Congo U20 team were chased out of the French military stadium otherwise known as BIMA after local organisers for the 2015 AYC failed to pay up for the use of the facility.

Congo, who are in Group A along hosts Senegal, Nigeria and Cote d’Ivoire, could not train at the stadium because officials there said they were yet to be paid for the use of the arena.

The Iba Mar Diop Stadium is the other training ground for teams in Group A.

There have been a number of lapses in the organisation of the U20 tournament, which serves as a qualifying tournament for the 2015 FIFA U20 World Cup in New Zealand from May 30.

Local interest appears also not to be great as there has been very little to suggest a competition is being staged by Senegal.

Meanwhile, The Junior Red Devils have been joined by Silvere Ngavoula, who features for Moroccan club, and two other pros from French side AJ Auxerre – Charlevy Mabiala and Hardy Samarange Binguila.

Congo, AYC winners in 2007 when they hosted the competition, have been led to Senegal by national team coach Claude Le Roy.

They begin their campaign on Sunday against Cote d’Ivoire at the Leopold Sedar Senghor Stadium from 7.30 pm local time.
