Atletico Madrid open talks over Almeria midfielder Stefan Djodic

Atletico Madrid have made contact with the representatives of Almeria midfielder Stefan Djodic as they consider a move for the Serbia international next summer, according to Marca.

The 21-year-old has emerged as a target for the La Liga club, who are exploring the possibility of signing him from Almeria.

Djodic is under contract with the Segunda club until 2032. His agreement contains a release clause worth 40 million euros, meaning Atletico Madrid would have to meet that figure to secure his signature unless the two clubs negotiate different terms.

The Serbian midfielder has played 10 matches in Segunda this season, scoring once and providing one assist.
