ATALANTA to loan LAMMERS out once season's over

Though his season start hadn't been a poor one, 24-year old Dutch striker Sam Lammers couldn't but harvest the crumbs of a proper game time amount, out of both Duvàn Zapata and Luis Muriel standing out from Atalanta ranks. To this end, Italian club are supposedly planning to loan out former PSV Eindhoven and Heerenveen hitman, ahead of next season, possibly even to a fellow Serie A side.
Currently on a deal with La Dea until June 2023, Lammers was purchased by Bergamo-based giants last summer, on a 7 million euros transfer fee. Yet to be placed somewhere else, he was inquired about by many clubs around during last winter window, including Bologna, Genoa, Hellas Verona, Torino, and Udinese. Earning a 800 thousand euros annual salary, Lammers managed to score only goals (against Cagliari and Napoli), way far from his Eredivisie record-netting, dating back to 2018/19, throughout which he made it 16 times.
