Asisat on target as Barcelona win Supercopa de España Femenina
Nigeria Super Falcons star striker, Asisat Oshoala was on was on target as FC Barcelona Femeni defeated Real Sociedad 3-0 to win the Supercopa de España Femenina.
Her goal was the late strike before the centre referee blew the final whistle to end the game.
The former Arsenal player connected well to a cross to head in the Spanish giants third to seal the win and hand Barcelona femeni the trophy.
Aitana Bonmati scored for Jonatan Giraldez’s side off Geyse’s fine pass after just 13 minutes into the match at Estadio Romano.
Bonmati scored her brace in the second half in the 47th minute of the game to make the score line 2-0 before Asisat put the icing on the cake after been brought to replace Geyse in the 68th
Oshoala has now won the tournament 3 times with Barcelona. The first in 2019-2020, 2021-2022 and 2022-2023.
