Black Stars and AshGold goalkeeper Fatau Dauda has dedicated their league triumph to fans of the club.

The Miners secured their second league title in over two decades with a 1-0 home victory over WAFA.

Emmanuel Ose’s strike was enough to dethrone Asante Kotoko who have been Ghanaian champions for the last three years.

Dauda says their faithful supporters deserve the joy of winning the title.

“It’s been a wonderful year for us because we have manage to break a psychological barrier,” Dauda told GHANAsoccernet.com

“The fans who have reposed believe in us deserve the trophy. They have supported us through thick and thin and I can only say that they deserve the title.”
