Ashanti Gold defender Tijani Joshua says there is still a lot of football to be played in the league and it would be suicidal to think that they have won the league.

The miners extended their lead at the top of the league table to 7 points after a strong win over bottom placed BA United.

Bahiru Hayford’s men have led the table since day one and are increasingly looking like champions in every passing game.

But defender Tijani Joshua says they will have to tread cautiously since there a lot of football to be played.

“It’s another win and now the key is to able to win all the home games. If we are able to achieve that then we will be ok,” Joshua told GHANAsoccernet.com

“We have to stop thinking we have won anything yet and once we get that mental shape then we will be ok.”
