Asante Kotoko striker Dauda Mohammed has allayed fears he is set for a long spell outside the field after coming off in the game against Wa All Stars.

The 17-year-old was replaced early on in the first half after feeling some discomfort in his hip in the game against Wa All Stars.

Dauda had put his side on the path to winning the game after opening the scoring on the 11th minute.

Before that he had scored two goals in the game against Hearts to hand the Porcupine Warriors all three points.

After being replaced on the 30th minute mark fears were that he was set for a long spell on the side lines.

But Dauda says after checks he should be back to full scale training in three days.

“I am grateful to God that the injury is not so serious,” Dauda told GHANAsoccernet.com

“Doctors say I should be back in the coming days so I am grateful, may be in the next three days i should be ok.”

Kotoko have picked form in the last few weeks and are now 5th on the league log with 38 points after successive victories over AshGold, Hearts of Oak and Wa All Stars.
