Asante Kotoko coach David Duncan says he is still getting to know his players almost two months after taking over.

The former Hearts of Oak trainer replaced Mas-Ud Dramani who was fired after a string of poor results.

And though Duncan has managed to steady the rocking form of the Ghanaian champions their exit at the hands of El Eulma in the CAF Champions League remains a bitter experience.

The tough-talking trainer however says he is still studying the strengths of the players.

“I’m still observing the players,” he told the Kotoko Express newspaper.

“Getting to know their potentials and where they can function at their optimum.

“We have been chopping and changing; trying to as it were, use them to the best of their ability.

“In the process of doing that, some of them are adapting quite well.

“For some too, it’s been slow but with time they will come good.”
