AS Monaco forward Henry Onyekuru has joined Plug Sports management – an entertainment company that boasts of Nigeria’s musical sensation, Davido.

Onyekuru becomes the first Super Eagles player to be associated with the brand after signing an agreement, fast-tracked by Prokick UK Limited in Lagos.

Aside from sports and entertainment, the outfit, which houses Mayorkun and Peruzzi, are also into publishing and licensing.

“Plug Sports is delighted to have Henry Onyekuru as one of our esteemed clients,” a statement read.

“We look forward to taking Henry Onyekuru’s career to the next level and establishing a mutually beneficial relationship.

“We also use this platform to announce Lanre Vigo as the head of our sports department.”

In an Instagram post, the Nigeria international expressed his delight with the arrangement.

“Happy to announce my collaboration with the Plug Sports. I am proud to be a part of the organisation. God willing Big plans ahead for the new year,” he wrote.

After helping Gernot Rohr’s men to a third place finish at the 2019 African Cup of Nation in Egypt, he joined the French top-flight outfit.

However, he has struggled to impress,l having failed to score for Robert Moreno’s men in four league appearances.

The Reds and Whites are seventh in the French top-flight log with 28 points from 18 games. They are guests of PSG in their next league outing on January 12.
