Arsenal weigh €110m move for Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez

Arsenal are preparing to reopen talks over a potential deal for Atletico Madrid forward Julian Alvarez before the January transfer window, according to The Daily Briefing.

The London club remain strongly interested in signing the Argentina international, who is also being monitored by Barcelona. Arsenal are therefore facing competition from the Spanish giants as they consider a move for the 26-year-old.

Alvarez’s reported transfer value is €110m, making any deal a major investment for the Premier League club.

The striker has made six appearances in La Liga this season, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
