Arsenal weigh 2031 contract plan for Declan Rice with Saka-level salary

Arsenal have opened negotiations with Declan Rice over a new contract that could keep the England midfielder at the club until 2031.

Rice’s current agreement runs until 2028, but talks are already under way over an extension, according to afcnewsroom. If completed, the proposed deal would represent a significant long-term commitment from the London club.

The new contract is expected to run for a further period until 2031 and would place Rice among Arsenal’s highest-paid players. His salary would be approximately equal to that of Bukayo Saka.

Rice joined Arsenal from West Ham in the summer of 2023 for more than €116m. Since moving to the club, he has made 165 appearances, scoring 21 goals and providing 33 assists.
