Arsenal manager "?Arsene Wenger has revealed Anfield is his favourite stadium to visit in the Premier League.


Liverpool have long been noted for their special support, with fans frequently dazzling with their renditions of 'You'll Never Walk Alone' before matches. 


The stadium has become even more of a fortress this season, with Liverpool looking well placed for a potential Premier League title challenge after some impressive performances before the international break put them top of the league.

Arsenal have had memorable away matches with the likes of Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur in recent years, but Wenger, 67, picked out Liverpool's special atmosphere when quizzed over the best stadiums in England.


"The favourite stadium with biggest fanbase with the most heated atmosphere is Liverpool," Wenger revealed.

Both Liverpool and Arsenal are expected to battle for the Premier League title this season, with Arsenal recovering extremely well from the 4-3 defeat on the opening weekend at the hands of Jurgen Klopp's side to move within two points of the league leaders, with Chelsea in second and Manchester City in third.


Arsene Wenger's side return to action on Saturday, where they take on Manchester United in the day's early kickoff.
