England-Nigerian winger Rio Ngumoha is the subject of a transfer rumour linking him with a move from Liverpool to Premier League rivals Arsenal.

The 18-year-old joined Liverpool’s senior squad in July 2025 after moving from Chelsea Youth to Liverpool Under-18s in September 2024 for €3.2m. He has since made five appearances for Liverpool this season, starting in both the Champions League and EFL Cup, while also featuring three times in the Premier League.

Ngumoha has not scored or provided an assist in those appearances. His current market value is listed at €30m, although there is no reported transfer fee attached to the Arsenal rumour.

The left winger, who is also eligible to represent Nigeria, was born in London and prefers to use his right foot. Liverpool signed him to a contract running until 30 June 2028, meaning the club is under no immediate pressure to sell.

Ngumoha’s reported availability comes after a season in which he has begun to receive senior opportunities across domestic and European competition. Arsenal are also competing in the Premier League, with the proposed move representing a switch between two clubs in the same division.

No transfer has been confirmed, and Ngumoha remains a Liverpool player under contract through the end of the 2027-28 season.
