Angry BA United coach Gargo wants to meet chief executive to decide future
By Patrick Akoto
BA United coach Mohammed Gargo will decide his long-term future after a meeting with the club’s chief executive.
The former Ghana international plans to meet Roy Arthur before deciding his future at the club, just a day after accusing his players of betting their Premier League games away.
Gargo made the wild allegations against his players following their 2-1 defeat to Wa All Stars last Sunday.
The betting claim against his players is believed to have brought disquiet among the playing body with fears it could crumble team cohesion.
The ex-Udinese star is angry with the latest development and wants to meet chief executive Roy Arthur before deciding his future.
“I have tried to called Roy (chief executive) before I go back to the place. But so far I have not gottten hold of him,” he told Starr FM
“There are few issues which must be resolved and so I’m hoping to talk to him first.
“I want him to give me powers to make changes at the club and the changes will be drastic. I tell you, it will be drastic if we want to stay afloat.”
The FA could open an investigation into the alleged match-fixing scandal influenced by sport betting.
