Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu believes compatriot Andre Ayew can excel at any top club in the world.

Ayew, 25, is close to joining a new club after leaving Marseille at the end of the season.

Several clubs mainly from England, Germany and Italy have been linked to the Ghana international.

It' understood Italian giants AS Roma are closing in on signing him while the likes of Byern Munich, Bayern Leverkusen,Tottenham and West Ham are reported to be interested.

And Agyemang-Badu, who plays for Italian side Udinese insists his compatriot has the quality to excel at any big club.

"Andre has great qualities and I have no doubt in my mind that he will excel at any club in the world," Badu said

"He is technically gifted, strong, and skillful among other great qualities.

He will excel anywhere be it Italy, England, Spain, Germany or anywhere in Europe and elsewhere."
