New Swansea City signing Andre Ayew believes that he is joining the "complete squad".

Ghana international Ayew was officially announced as a Swans player on Tuesday afternoon, and the versatile ex-Marseille winger has explained his decision to join the Welsh side.

"They play a lot of football, they are a team that goes forward and scores goals, and tactically they are very good too," Ayew told Sky Sports News.

"Like I said, their team spirit and everything I had heard about the squad [I liked]. I looked at the squad and when you make decisions, you try to weigh up everything and I saw a complete squad.

"For me it is good to come to a club like Swansea and help the club do better in the Premier League."

Ayew has signed a four-year deal with Garry Monk's side.
